Sol; High Priestess of Terra
The High Priestess was annoyed. Soft blue-violet eyes traced the figure of the female lion that stood before her, Teakishani had gotten hurt again while roughing up a group of older cubs, and the silver jaguar dropped her gaze to meet topaz eyes as the four month old cub swallowed loudly. "Honestly Teak. What am I going to do with you?" Teak was one of the King's daughters, a child of Absolutus and Forma, and if she kept getting banged up and got hurt there was no telling how her father would react. "I'm sorry High Priestess." Teak murmured, her rounded ears twitching as she looked down at the ground, and Sol nudged the girl with her paw. "Go. Be more careful and don't pick on the older cubs." Teak had developed a superiority complex, feeling that she had to prove she was better because she was a royal cub, and Sol watched the girl prance off toward her friends Fidus and Callidus. Sol shook her head, sighing, and plopped her rear end onto the soft moss of her area in the temple.
The High Priestess looked up at the sky, the sun shone brightly above them, and she began murmuring a soft chant; tonight, the full moon, was the night she and Luna had to strengthen the wards on the temple. Their combined powers, Earth and Heavenly, created a form of barrier around the temple that helped fend off troublemakers; Sol was the feline of daylight, chanting at high sun, and tonight Luna was to finish the circle of magic. The energy crackled around her, freely dancing along her spotted coat, and Sol rejoiced in the feeling as the small sparks shot down her spine and settled in the pit of her stomach; Sol's earthly magic enticed a sort of joy juice effect on her body, her powers thoroughly physical, while Luna's Heavenly powers created a sense of inner peace and balance. The jaguar was not envious of her sister however, they shared magic on two planes of power, they were harmonious and strong.
A voice interrupted her, once more, and she glanced down at the small cub before her with a sigh, Teak gave a shy wave as Fidus presented his rear end to the silver jaguar to reveal the stickers on his fur. Sol cringed, the stickers were sharp and stuck to fur painfully, and began removing them one small piece at a time. Fidus was glaring at Teak and Callidus the entire time, yelping when a small blossom was particularly stuck, and Sol wondered just why these three cubs were constantly in trouble or getting hurt.
