上几周,我写了一篇名为《海底捞这么出名,但它的Slogan是啥呢?》的文章,里面提到了海底捞的Slogan——来自四川的火锅…好火锅自己会说话。 看了文章之后,不少读者都表示:这还是第一次知道,原来海底捞是四川的火锅啊! 是的,只要你去过海底捞,就会发现:海底捞很少宣传它来自四川,就算把Slogan贴出来,也往往只 工作职能电子邮件列表 有后半句(好火锅自己会说话),而没有前半句(来自四川的火锅)… 注:这是海底捞以前的Slogan 现在已经换成了“一起嗨,海底捞” 这的确是个很有意思的现象… 其实,除了海底捞,很多其他的大品牌,似乎也不喜欢强调自己的“身世”,比如: 西贝——最开始它的定位是“西北民间菜”,后来几经折腾,又改成了现在的“西贝莜面村”; 王老吉——它并没有强调自己是来自广东的凉茶(PS,凉茶就是广东的特产); 大白兔——它并没有强调自己是来自上海的奶糖(PS,在上海的特产店,你一定会看到它); KFC——它也早就没有宣传自己是来自肯塔基州的炸鸡了; 甚至包括东阿阿胶——虽然“东阿”就是个地名(东阿县),但在其官网上,也并没有着重体现地域特征,而是主打“滋补”的功效。 那么,为什么这些本身可以算“特产”的大品牌,都不说自己是“特产”,也不去强调“正宗”的概念呢? 其中一个因素就是「规模」——以上提到的几个品牌,它们都是品类中的领导者。 在这种情况下,如果再强调自己是“正宗”或“特产”,那言外之意就是——除了我们,市场上还有很多其他品牌——相当于在消费者心智中,放弃了领先者的地位。 比如海底捞,它已经是火锅餐厅中的老大了,但如果它依然坚持说“我是正宗的四川火锅”,就相当于是在告诉消费者: 如果你要吃四川火锅,就来我们家。但如果你要吃潮汕火锅,港式火锅和韩国火锅等,那就去别家吧… 这显然是不太明智的… 所以,海底捞就只会说自己是“好火锅”,而不再强调自己“来自四川”了… (PS,“来自四川的火锅”这句Slogan,在海底捞规模较小的时候,就是非常不错的——一下子就能建立消费者认知)
